We always love to help our community and were blessed to have had the chance to take photos for an event here in our hometown, Camp with Cops! This event is for children to come and take part in fun activities with law enforcement officers! It was such an honor to be present to see and capture the joy on the kid’s faces!! There were just under 100 kids in attendance and they had a wonderful time! They took part in self-defense, archery, airsoft, fishing, bouncy houses, arts & crafts, and hay rides. Each of these activities was taught by Dickenson County Sherriff’s Office deputies in order to help these kids associate their faces with fun and trust! They even had a surprise for the kids after lunch! They were greeted by McGruff the Crime Dog and then the Wings Air Rescue crew descended their helicopter onto the field there at Camp Jacob! What an amazing event that will produce positive memories for these children!! It was a privilege to capture these photos!! Enjoy!
