Chad and I loved being a part of Mikaylee and Ian’s wedding day at A King’s Lodge in Sevierville, TN!! This was our last wedding of 2018 and as we began our trip to Sevierville we couldn’t help but think about all of the wedding stories we had the honor of capturing over this past year!! 🙂 We were excited to be wrapping up our wedding season with such a sweet couple at a beautiful venue! Our great friend, Katy Sergent, was able to second shoot for us and it’s always so much fun with her!!
It was a cold and gorgeous November day!! We arrived at A King’s Lodge which was situated in a valley surrounded by stunning mountains and fall colors! We got right to work photographing all the lovely details!! Mikaylee wore the same earrings that her mother had worn on her wedding day and she wore her dad’s original wedding band!! How sweet is that?! Another precious detail was Mikaylee’s something blue which was rosary beads that her mother-in-law had made for her! They were a beautiful addition to Mikaylee’s awesome bouquet!!
Mikaylee and Ian’s closest friends and family joined them for a sunset ceremony that was incredibly touching as they shared vows they had written to each other. Mikaylee and Ian’s deep love for one another was evident and each part of their day was perfect! We couldn’t think of a better way to end our wedding season than a lively reception which included FIREWORKS, y’all!! How INCREDIBLE is that?!
Congrats to Mikaylee and Ian and we hope that you enjoy the story of their wedding day in images!!
