Snowmen fall from heaven, some assembly required~~Odgen Nash

It’s no secret that I love snow! In fact, I always wish for snow on my birthday because I absolutely love it and I always have loved winter more than summer! Call me crazy but it’s just such a cozy time of year! This past Sunday we got 7 inches of snow and guess who was out in the snow storm taking photos…. this girl! It was so much fun because it truly was a winter wonderland. It looked like a big white blanket had covered everything! I wanted to share some photos with everyone!

So this is when it first started! Within an hour we had one inch! YAY! I am just like a kid and had to get out and play in it!

The best part about about my walk in the snow was this dog that showed up!  Of course I wanted to take the dog home with me! HA! this coming from a girl who use to rescue every animal in the neighborhood(even those that already had homes) when she was a little girl…and eventually ended up with 26 cats. Yep…. 26…but I digress. Anyway I loved how curious the dog was and had to take some photos! The perfect model…don’t you think?

The snow just kept pouring down and I thought it would be cool to get some night time shots! I have been wanting to practice at night anyway. I definitely need practice! I took some photos of some of the places around my town.

The city park

ok…so now this is the funny part… YES there is a funny part to this story of my adventures out in the snow. I decided I wanted a shot of the park at an angle that most people don’t get to see. My fiance suggested we go up on the hill so here we go. Our first try we went up the side of the hill. WHY in the world we would decide to walk up a hill in the snow is beyond me.  Of course I was trying my best to protect my camera because I didn’t want it to get wet and I didn’t want to end up breaking something. So what do you think happened?   Anyone want to take a guess?

yep.. I fell…slid down the hill and then got snow down my pants! (fiance sliding down behind me) Now that…..was not a good experience..a very COLD experience and we just sat there in the snow laughing like crazy.

SO…on to the next try to get up on the hill…yeah that’s right we didn’t give up.

We finally found another way up that wasn’t so steep and managed to find a great spot.

Is that little guy/girl a weimaraner? Cute dogs, yet crazy! Nice pictures this post.

    • Yes he/she was a weimaraner! They are cute and crazy hyper! When she/he first noticed me he/she came running towards me barking. However, once I started talking to the dog(yes I talk to animals lol) he/she was so sweet! Thanks for the compliment! 🙂
