We are so excited to continue our Feature Fridays on the blog!!:) Today, we are featuring one of our favorite videography teams! Their work is beyond amazing!! One thing we believe in is finding the perfect videographer for your wedding or special event! We can personally speak from experience here! On our wedding day, one thing we did not invest in is a videographer! Now, we wish we had! You want to look back and remember every moment! The best way to do that is through photos and videos!
We would like to introduce you to Max & Elena from VR Production who are based in Knoxville, TN, and serve GA, CO, CA and beyond!! We have had the chance to work with them and see how they work! They are truly talented at what they do and they have the gift of being able to capture moments unlike anything you will ever see! They are super sweet and incredibly passionate about capturing special memories!
We would like to start off by sharing with you a highlight video of one of the weddings they shot!

- 1. Tell us a little bit about your business!
Out of the 7 billion people in the world, you choose to be with one. And that one person chooses to be with you. We find this fascinating, miraculous, and worth documenting. Wedding films done right are about much more than cake, dresses, and flowers.
We love God, love people and love to tell stories. This job is more than just our passion, it also is a part of us and our family. We love to create and capture moments that tell a story while leaving people emotionally engaged and captivated throughout our films.
We have been extremely blessed and honored to have the business that we love and have been apart of so many beautiful love stories.
As director with degrees in performing arts and as musician with degrees in music, filming has truly captured Max’s heart and allowed him a creative fusion of music and visuals. Song selection is so important to us in our films that we dedicate a lot of time to find those perfect songs that truly reflect each couple we film.
2. How did you get started?
Max filmed his first wedding being 12 years old boy.
3. How many years have you been in business?
We have been filming weddings and other events for over 10 years now with over 200+ weddings under our belt so we’re experts in perfecting the details and creating the extraordinary cinematography. We believe that weddings are a social celebration of a very sacred commitment. We feel honored to participate in every wedding we shoot, and treat both the day and the people involved with the highest level of respect.
4. How would you describe your video style?
Most of all weddings are a day filled with beauty and magic that emerges effortlessly. We believe our job is to capture that magic in the most authentic way – unobtrusively, honestly and joyfully.
We specialize in innovative and compelling videography and for weddings and special events. We work with creativity, collaborative working style, and high-level of professionalism. We are enthusiastic artists who work behind the scenes to make any wedding or any event unique, memorable and a whole lot of fun.
5. How long is a typical video?
We provide:
Teaser ( 1 minutes)
Highlights film (3 – 4 minutes)
Feature film (7 – 45 minutes)
6. What do you love most about what you do?
We believe in creating wedding films that do more than just document one day – we believe in creating wedding films that encapsulate the important, the crazy, the happy, and the sad – the reasons why you decided to have such a big day in the first place. We believe relationships are key – in love and in life – and we’re dedicated to building friendships with each couple before the wedding day.
7. What’s your favorite part of a wedding day?
For us every part of a wedding is unique!:)
8. What are some of your goals and dreams for 2018?
We would like to tell more stories in 2018! Everyone has a story and these are the stories we love to tell.
9. What is your ideal wedding couple?
It is our greatest pleasure to get to know couples and capture their moments, their thoughts, their expressions, their love and the relationships that they have. We want to be the ones to capture the greatest day of our couples’s life so they could forever look back on it and relive the excitement they had. We do this out of passion. This is a love that continues to grow in our hearts and we want to share in that with our clients.
We are excited to work with couples who care deeply about capturing more than just the details of their wedding day. We are looking for fiancés who aren’t afraid to be themselves, laugh a little, and let us capture the heart of their relationship.
10. What should people know before booking you?
I’m Max and my beautiful wife Elena are a wedding videography team! We are based in Knoxville TN but we serve GA, CO, CA and beyond! Most of our brides are from other states and countries! We love to travel anywhere for weddings and elopements.
We strongly believe that when we create things with passion, magic happens.
We are a family of four now with a beautiful son named David and a cute chihuahua named Tosha.
We love to tell stories, we love to travel, and we love our family.
11. Why should people invest in a videographer?
Memory, no matter how beautify the wedding day was and the way it was remembered for the couple, often fails to convey the full emotion of a special day like video. Asking people about their videography situation, sometimes they respond with “We aren’t having videography. We didn’t budget for it. We don’t want it…”
You don’t want the greatest day of your life, the day you’ve dreamed of since you were a little girl, captured on video? You don’t want to be able to re-watch it for the rest of your lives? You don’t want your children to be able to watch it years from now? Your grandchildren? You don’t want to be able to go back and re-listen to your vows to each other? Re-watch your dad walking you down the aisle? Re-feel the emotions you felt during your first dance? Re-live your wedding day?!
It hurts our heart. Seriously. It’s a heartbreaker when people tell us they’re not going to have wedding videography at their wedding. And we are not saying it have to be us! You SHOULD HIRE A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER! ANY PROFESSIONAL WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER! And our hearts will be happier for you. And no, having your great aunt film with her camcorder or your brother’s best friend run around with his go-pro is SO, so not the same. Not by a long shot.
