We have had the honor of working with him and he is so much fun! We will be sharing some photos of Kenneth working throughout the post as we share his answers to some questions that we asked him about what he does. Tell us a little bit about your business?

I’ve dreamed of success in many ways from all different types of work. What I’ve grown to realize is success isn’t about money in the bank, it isn’t about the number of events squeezed into a month or even a year. It’s about making our clients absolute priority from the very first phone call all the way through to final goodbyes on the night of their wedding. It’s about making memories that last a life time and giving service that shows how much I truly care.

How many years have you been in business? Officially four years for myself.

 

How did you get started? I started making mix tapes around the age of 12 off the radio like many of us did. I did parties from cassettes starting with family get togethers and eventually worked my way to corporate events and weddings. It’s humbling to be trusted with what is many couples’ most important day of their lives to date and I take that seriously.

 

How would you describe your style?

 

Interactive. I love to know who Grandma is and little brother and who the best friends are. It’s important to me and helps me best represent couples on a more personal level. My passion for people makes this part of my style so much fun! Always meeting new people and booking events from further and further away even.

 

What do you love most about what you do?

 

I make a difference. I get to stand in the balance of a couples most cherished first steps toward forever, while making memories along the way and helping those present reminisce back to their very own special day.

 

What should people know before booking you?

 

I despise the “push play Dj”. A wedding day isn’t about the Dj you book but he is responsible for the flow of your whole event. Never book off price or even equipment. Book off personality and who represents you well. Be leery of anyone who gives you a price for service without asking for any details. They should be just as interested in your event as you are. Your entertainer is an investment not to be taken likely.

What is your favorite song? Least favorite song?

I can’t limit either of those to just one. I love music. It can be a powerful tool if used just right at the right moment. It can be critical also. Rap music is definitely not my forte however and doesn’t represent me well.

 

What tips or advice can you give to couples who are in the midst of planning their wedding day?

 

Understand that if there is ever a time to splurge, your wedding day would be it. Love who you book and never settle for less than you dream. Cheap isn’t good and good isn’t cheap. Every aspect of your day is an investment.

 

What are your favorite hobbies or non-work related activities?

 

I love to make people laugh and aspire to continue working on routines and stand up.  I’m a tinkerer by trade and a fire rescue volunteer also. I love being with people and helping those in need.

 

 

What are some of your goals and dreams for 2019?

 

To chase the person I hope to be 5 years from now. Continue to grow my efforts and abilities to love on couples. To learn new ways to please crowds and interact on levels few reach
