It has been a while since I have had the chance to sit down and write a blog. I apologize for the lack of blogging and posting! It has definitely not been because I didn’t have anything to post or write about. In fact, it has been due to Chad and I being swamped with portrait sessions and weddings, and life has thrown us a few curve balls. Despite all of the challenges life has thrown us in the past few months we can’t ignore the blessings that have also happened!

I am working my way through editing all of the beautiful photo session and weddings we have had this past fall. We had some amazing experiences and we are grateful for all of the adventures and the crazy schedule we have had. I personally have had times of thankfulness and times of realization.  This comes during a time that I feel is a turning point in so many ways for me and the business. Our photography journey has only just begun even though we have had so many wonderful things happen! I consider this to be just the beginning of some awesome things! The business has taken off in ways that I never imagined and we feel blessed to be able to continue to learn and grow. The Lord has given us a look into what the business could be and we are sooo excited!  I have so many goals and to be honest, it is scary at times to to announce or realize them because I immediately set myself up to fail if they never happen. However, reading Lara Casey’s book, Make it happen, and using her Powersheets have helped me to finally begin to stop chasing perfect. Choosing purpose over perfection is the path I need to take! This new year is going to bring a lot of changes for us.! Thank you so much to all of you amazing supporters, encouragers, and clients!! The new year will be coming soon and we can’t wait to see what’s in store!
